Jasmin

    Hey, you!

I'm Jasmin, also known as Jasmin's Eats or Miss Seats (a running joke for those who think my last name is Seats). I'm the gal behind Jasmin's Eats, and if you've found your way here you probably already know what that means: big flavour, little fuss, simple and satisfying recipes that actually work on a Wednesday night when you've got no energy left but are impressive enough to cook for someone you love or whip out at a dinner party.

After working my way up the corporate ladder in marketing, I realised I hated being told what to do, let alone having a boss. So I quit, moved to Sydney within 4 weeks, and went back into hospitality. That didn't last either - I got fired for not taking my manager's bullshit a few months later. Instead of hunting for another job, I decided to start taking social media seriously. Considering I didn't have an income, teaching people how to cook on a tight budget was the content that came out of it. I posted a video with my intention of putting 110% into growing my page and six weeks later, my life had changed: 600 followers to 400k across Instagram and TikTok.

Now I share content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube to over 1.2 million people, and honestly the growth still doesn't feel real. What started as me just cooking the stuff I actually wanted to eat turned into a full-time thing, then a bestselling cookbook, and now a life I never would have mapped out for myself but wouldn't change for anything.

Everyday Eats, my first cookbook, became a bestseller, which still makes me a bit emotional if I think about it too long. It was built on the same idea that runs through everything I make: good food doesn't need to be complicated to be worth making. My second book drops in December 2026, and it's the big sister of Everyday Eats, same philosophy: approachable food that delivers every time, real food, no fuss, always delicious and incredibly satisfying.

But this site isn't just about recipes. If you've been around a while, you'll know Fridays are the best day of the week here. My Friday series is where I get into Sydney's food scene and the incredible cultural diversity that makes this city's food what it is. We explore different foods together one cuisine at a time in the comfort of my own car. It's some of my favourite content to create and definitely my most loved by you guys.

Here you'll have access to all of my recipes for free and a hub where you too can explore and learn the different cuisines and cultures of the world. I plan on building this site out more over time, so if there's a recipe you want to see or any feedback on what's already here, please don't hesitate to email or DM me!

Thanks for being here and supporting me! There's a lot more coming.

    Happy browsing, fam!

    Much love xx
